Sub: - Regarding acute shortage of staff in Grade-I, II & III Post Offices – local administration
harassing Postmasters knowing not deputing staff

Respected sir,

With humble request, I want to draw a few lines in your kind notice that there is acute shortage of staff in many Grade-I, II & III post offices in Punjab Circle. Many of us are facing shortage below 50%. Many Postmasters Grade-I are working with 1 + 1 staff position.  Postmasters are helpless to work on counters. Now question arises that how can they supervisor on finacle or mail department? Sir, this cadre played vital role in generating revenue for department as well as shine image of department in the general public. The young dynamic postmasters are ready for all challenges like generating revenue, achieving allotted targets, but with acute shortage of staff how can we succeed?  This not only creates loss to department in revenue, but also de-moralize postmasters of this cadre.

So, this association requests your goodself to intervene the case at the earliest possible.

          Hoping for justice!

Your faithfully,

Sd/-
