Sir,
This association would like to draw
kind attention of the worthy Circle Head to the para 4 of the D.O. no cited
above written by Sh M. S. Subramanya Rao, Director (CRD), DoPT, North Block,
New Delhi 110001 to all the Cadre Controlling Authorities.
Under
para 4 of the said D.O. it has been reiterated that cadre review of other
services (Group-‘B’/’C’/erstwhile ‘D’ services) may also be undertaken in
consultation with Deptt of Expenditure and as per guideline contained in DoPT’s
OM No 2/1/1987 dated 23/11/1987 and a status report may be provided to the DoPT
in this regard latest by 31st March, 2017.

Proposed
requirement of APMs in the office of Grade-I, II & III Post offices after
cadre restructuring
In view of heavy schedule of post offices, as finacle
implementation and proposal to implement of CSI software, new services and
products, there are more expectations from this glorious cadre by the
department as well as by our esteemed customers. There have been many folds
increased in duties & responsibilities of a postmaster. To close watch over of SB works as well as
delivery works besides to tackle challenges in competition in the market, this
association suggests the proposal to create the posts of APMs as under please:

sufficient number of posts of LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I supervisors in the offices
of Postmaster Cadre as proposed above through CADRE RESTRUCTURING which will be very much justified and will
definitely encourage the Postmaster Cadre officials in their workplace & it
will be great sigh of relief for PM Cadre to work with enthusiastic to generate
more business.
