This association
would like to draw your kind attention for consideration as under please: -
1) During
demonetization, post office played a vital role to deposit & exchange WOS
bank notes and gave an excellent example to the nation. Post office employees
gave their best. But during this noble mission, our post office employees had
to bear huge loss due to fake WOS bank notes. They not only had to work for
extended hours even on Sundays to grip the works under control, but also had to
bear loss of fake WOS bank notes from their own pockets.
2) After
demonetization, the trend of fake may in circulation in the market. To protect
from this unwanted evil, there is great need of fake note detecting &
counting machines.
3) In
large offices like Grade-I & above uses to deal with currency notes in
plenty.
Keeping
in view of above noted points, this association requests before worthy Chief
PMG to consider this proposal and arrange to supply good quality of fake note detecting & counting machines
to all Grade-I & above post offices.
